He is Risen!

Easter grows more special to me each year and to be able to share the story of Christ's death and resurrection with my children is a gift. The twins are really starting to "get it" though Jackson's excited response to Easter was, "Mom, it's Easter! Jesus gets to die!" and we had to explain the resurrection part in a little more detail!

My parents came in for the holiday and we had a great weekend. Everyone played hard, ate too much (Mom brought tons of sweets from Hattiesburg) and enjoyed the time together. The Easter Bunny went a little overboard with Spring clothes and toys, but the kids loved it :) Evie is really talking, too. Her latest sentence: "I want Carlisle's candy!"

The photos with the kids are the Lands and Eldridges. The kids are best friends and we are so excited to welcome baby Henry to the group!

We ended the day with a fish fry potluck at our house. We invited a wide group of our friends and their families and we all had a blast. Pictured are just a few of the kids during their picnic dinner. We are so blessed to have such a community of friends!
