The Family that PLAYS (and prays!) Together...

The twins love to play together - and I have proof above! It's really been so much fun to watch Jackson Camper and Car-Car and recognize the other as a "playmate" as they share (or grab the other one's!) toys, make each other laugh, crawl all around the floor, etc. Both are experts at getting up on all fours and rocking and crawling is coming along pretty well, too. They have mastered the military crawl and manage to make it from one side of the room to the other in an alarmingly short amount of time, especially if they're on a mission to capture the remote control, our family's favorite toy.

This week started off with a sick Carlisle. Mommy and Car-Car took a sick day on Monday, complete with a visit to our wonderful doctor. We think she was suffering an ear infection but she was in a great mood all day. Unfortunately, she decided that sleeping was NOT an option Monday night and literally screamed from 9PM until 6AM. All. Night. Screaming. Loud. Either Kendal or I were up with her and we realized how very, very lucky we are that we avoided colic with both kids. I have no idea how we would have survived with night after night of screaming babies!

Lauren is proud to report that the babies love shopping as much as she does! Twice this week (Saturday with friend Karen to Little Rock and Friday to Target with mommy) the babies have tagged along for shopping trips and were happy as clams. Yesterday we bought more footed pajamas (mommy's favorite!) and Lauren treated herself to a big McAlister's sweet tea, one of her very favorite things. Kendal spent the night at a church retreat so mom and twins had a slumber party! Luckily they went to bed fairly quickly and mom enjoyed a quiet night "Under the Tuscan Sun." Tonight, Nana and Kendal's grandmother are coming up to watch the babies so Lauren and Kendal can have a night out at the Junior Auxiliary Charity Ball. We are so excited to see Nana and Bebe and can't wait to show them how quickly these kiddos can move!
