It's official - the girl can walk! Carlisle is now really, truly a walking machine. She can take about 10-12 steps at a time (usually holding at least two stuffed bunnies) and she's pretty darn confident while she does it. That's our girl! Another new development in the life of Miss Carli-Warli... She can now wear a bow!! Her hair is short (we like to think it's a trendy "pixie cut") but it's there and it will hold a small bow. Pictured is Carlisle this past Sunday. We tried the bow, thinking disaster was looming, but amazingly it stayed in her hair through both church AND lunch. Isn't she cute?! Tell her so the next time you see her, please.

Otherwise, things are just moving and grooving. We made a quick trip to Shreveport last weekend for cousin Sarah Beth's 4th birthday. It was a swimming party and we all had a great time. The twins took to the water like champs and didn't want to leave! They also are now in forward-facing carseats - BIG KIDS! We thought this was going to be the best development ever... and it was for about five minutes. However, now that they are facing forward they can see us and they want our attention, all the time! I'll turn around and make faces at stop-lights but I think goofing around while driving may be a serious hazard. We'll see. Regardless, the kids are facing forward, loving Goldfish, walking and almost walking... Fun times!! Truly, we're having a blast.
