Christmons

We have a special tradition at our church - The Hanging of the Christmons. In early December, the children of the church each hang a christmon (an ornament that holds special Christian significance) on the tree at the front of the church. Each child goes down the aisle to hang their christmon while a descriptio of thier ornament is read to the church - it's really meaningful.

We are so blessed to be GROWING in terms of young families and kids. We had nearly 20 children participate this year, which is amazing. The kids had a great time, though keeping them "contained" throughout the first part of the service was a challenge. Special kudos to our children's director, Breanne Kirksey, and her assistant Elizabeth Burke for keeping the kids in line!

We love our sweet church!
